Scorchly

Queue privacy

This covers the Scorchly waitlist only. The full privacy policy covers the app.

Who we are

Scorchly is run by Farasu Holdings, which decides how waitlist data is used.

What we keep

Your email address, the date you joined, your invite code, the code of whoever invited you (if anyone), and a scrambled, salted fingerprint of your internet connection that we use only to stop spam sign-ups. We do not keep your IP address itself.

What we use it for

To email you when your early-access wave opens and when Scorchly launches, to give you and your friends the free weeks promised for invites, and to block abuse. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or add you to any other list.

Where it is kept

In Scorchly's own database, hosted by Cloudflare, which may process it in the United States. When your wave opens, our email provider (Resend) receives your address to send that one email. Nobody else receives it.

How long

Until 90 days after launch, or until you leave the list, whichever comes first.

Leave the list

Enter the email you used and your 8-character invite code. Your entry is deleted straight away.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or complain to your data protection regulator (in the UK, the ICO). Leaving the list above deletes everything we hold about you.
